Resolution Issue
I started up the game and it strangely only took up the top left corner of my television. That didn't bother me so much, but it also seemed to be cutting off some of the screen. I went into the config file to switch to windowed mode, but it still was partially off the screen and I couldn't move the window.

Any suggestions?

FILE = "Four Last Things.vis"
#
# FULLSCREEN = {yes|no}
# yes - starts the game in fullscreen
# no - starts the game in a window
FULLSCREEN = yes
#
# RESOLUTION = {Auto|Desktop|Game}
# Auto - wide-screen support is activated if a wide-screen display is detected
# Desktop - current desktop resolution is used when game is started in full screen mode
# Game - game is initialized with the resolution specified in the game
RESOLUTION = desktop
#
# INTRO = {yes|no}
# yes - Show the intro movie on start-up
# no - Don't show the intro movie
#
# LANGUAGE = {German|English|...}
#
# LOGLEVEL = {Info|Warning|Error}
LOGLEVEL = error

First try validating game files then change config to the following

FULLSCREEN = yes
RESOLUTION = auto
LOGLEVEL = info

Thanks. It did need to verify one of the files, but even after that, and changing the config, I'm still experiencing the same issues.

I've contacted the developer and he responded quickly. :) I'm going to try a few things. I'll post here if we reach a solution.

Well, the dev helped me find a partial fix. I can't get fullscreen to work yet, but I can now get it to work properly in windowed mode. To do so, in the .exe file for the game, I went to Properties and the Compatibility tab. In there, I checked the box for "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings." This properly centered the window so now I can see the whole screen.

It'd be nice to get fullscreen capability running properly, but I'm satisfied that now I can play it.

I have the same problem (Laptop, WIndows 10). 'FULLSCREEN = Yes / RESOLUTION = Game' works.

I basically followed the instructions of this post, specifically overrided the high DPI settings of the application in the Compatibility tab, and I was able to get it to fit my laptop screen. Sorry you couldn't get it to fully solve your problem, but thank you so much for sharing this!

I had this issue too. Pressing Alt +Enter forced it into fullscreen for me.
Hope this helps !

Had the same issue but on my HDTV. Res was at 3840 x 2160 but the game was set at 1920 x 1080. Went into properties for the exe, then...
Click Compatibility > Settings - Change high DPI Settings
and activated "High DPI Scaling Override"
with "Scaling Performed by [Application]"
Hope my 2-cents helps!

UPDT: New problem. Hitting the 'chord' button (BigPic Overlay) causes the game to minimize. Probably should be using Mouse/Keyboard setup anyways.
