That being said, I do appreciate Yumi for her versatility. She's somewhat of an all-around character considering her skins. Despite their similar stats, I feel like due to traits Hannah's role is way more pinned down to a safe caboose investigator while Yumi might be closer to a generalist pick.
Matching with veterans, Hannah would be The Queen. Your team play won't be meaningless anymore. Irreplaceable cabooser, what's more, you can strafe the darkness with ur amazing 360no scope, without being too slow, more importantly, the DOOMSDAY of Lilith and Morgul.
I hardly play both maybe because of my experiences in random internet games where I see yumis and hannahs with toy torches , moaning in my ear all the time, rushing infront of me to take clues, not caboosing and just defend themselves.
both main role is backguard imo, because they are fast and have enough bravery aswell. in that case better battery management and the pos trait of hannah is and advantage
LMAO, YES Mr. Geff, you have shared your frustrations with players who take these characters. xD I wholeheartedly agree with you.
Protecting your team: Hannah > Yumi
Hannah wins due to much higher Flashlight and Agile, which makes Hannah the best guard for close range monster caboosing as she can keep up with the monster's advance the most. Whereas Yumi although faster by a slight margin with Curious active, just can't deal with the Speed reduction penalty when walking backward. Pair that with lower Flashlight stat on Yumi, and it's clear that Hannah is better at protecting the team.
Lasting longer games: Hannah > Yumi
Due to Hannah having her Speed always at a static value, and with higher Flashlight, Hannah is much more suited to longer games than Yumi. Yumi starts getting weaker in the mid-late game due to Curious being inactive as battery drain gets higher, meaning Yumi needs a lot more batteries to keep up in the late game than Hannah does.
Tapefinding ability: Yumi > Hannah
Although They both have the same Exploration rating, Hannah suffers in this category considerably because of Deafness, which greatly increases how long it takes to find tapes as the range at which she hears them is much smaller, meaning that even in blue dot range of tape Hannah still might struggle to find a tape where Yumi won't.
Sanity Management: Hannah > Yumi
The reason for this is due to Hannah's Agile trait and having much more consistent speed, she doesn't need to run to catch back up to her group after running back checks due in part to Agile, and that Sanity loss from running does amount to a lot in the late game. It also doesn't help Yumi's case that she has to be much closer to the monster to stun it, which increases Sanity drain as she'll be exposed to the monster for longer than Hannah will.
Mobility: Yumi > Hannah
Yes, although Hannah has a higher base Speed stat than Hannah, she does actually move faster while Curious is active by a tiny 1%. That's not all though as Yumi also has a higher Endurance rating than Hannah does and it can get higher with one of her skins. Although Curious can run out and leave Yumi moving 4% slower than Hannah, that extra Endurance still elevates her to a level that is barely under Hannah. Pair this with the fact that Hannah is forced into her Amber skin to ever have a chance to be faster than Yumi, and the faster choice is clear.
The only time Hannah is faster than Yumi is when Yumi picks the skin that reduces her Endurance and has her Battery under 50%, which is a rare enough situation anyway as not many people use that skin.
General Survivability: Yumi > Hannah
Yes, Yumi is queen in terms of survivability here. She has better mobility and Stealth by default, which is extremely helpful for surviving as Hannah can be killed by monster powers as her Stealth rating of -3 is terrible. And although Yumi has less Range than Hannah, most of the time Range is more for your team's survival rather than your own.
There you go. I personally prefer Hannah as most experienced teams have a good enough leader that you can afford to have not tapefinding ability, but Yumi is nicer in public matches where you might need to do a lot more on your own.
What is your favorite skin maining Yumi?
Aww, okay =3
Makes sense, it's her best carry skin as the increased Exploration means you can actually find stuff on your own. The Endurance penalty is bad, but I rarely find myself needing Endurance in pub games where you friends are your meatshields. <:>
Very comprehensive analysis between the two characters; I love it. Both are quite beneficial and unique in their own ways!
High Speed characters are always useful. I hope we get one more 7/8 Speed just for the sake of being able to go a full 7-8 Speed team.
I hope not..
We definitely don't need that. Speed meta is already too overpowered as is.
Lol, yes Legend Blue xD Hannah's is just too damn fast xD
