Single Player?
It says single player on the store page. Does it work like Left for Dead? In that you play one investigator and the A.I does the rest or can you only play as the creature?

In short, how does it play please?

It's basically an 1v1 against an A.I. creature. You can't currently play as a creature in single player due to the fact that there are no AI investigators at the moment.

Able to play this me against 1 other friend.. essentially 1v1 for with players?

Yes you can wartotehlock, you can be the creature and kill your friend, or you can play cooperatively against the A.I with your friend.

They are working on A.I investigators though, not sure when they will release them but i just created a thread and they answered me they'll release them as training, hopefully you can play with them as well.

you can change the ai difficulty, nightmare is fun to play against.

Don't get it if you are only going to play single player. It is not a worthy investment as this game is highly based on teamwork.

I wouldn't be confident enough to say "They're working on them". Waagh said that it wouldn't be a bad idea to maybe make some not-so-smart AI that can at least finish a game, but he never straight up said "Yeah, we're working on it".

It's a shame. I would have liked to play this solo. I don't think it should say single player in game discription if you cannot get a proper single player experiance either :(

You can play alone against AI? Yes, thus single player is technically in there.
Hell, even the option do that is called Solo play.

its because it wouldnt be scary.
the creature solo play should only receive 75% of points earned OR the Investigator AI should be set to be more advanced or more skilled
