Just Create a desktop shortcut of your game
(ex: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham VR\ArkhamVR\Binaries\Win64\ArkhamVR.exe).
after close all apps on your pc and launch virtual desktop with your headset.
after with your controller double tap on your game shortcut.
Steam Launch and 2 seconds later Batman VR Launch...
in game, press menu button on your left controller (now steam menu open).
Go in Controller Setup (By default is Oculus Touch Controller with default binding).
Click on customize button mapping and after choose shared binding from cain. Return in your game and have fun.
(sorry for my bad language. i speak french).
Before you launch Arkham VR, make sure to launch the Oculus desktop app. If you don't have it, download it.
The app doesn't need to have your headset connected to it. Just launch the Oculus app, leave it in the background, then launch Arkham VR and all should work now.
Why is it this way? Who knows...
Edit: I use Virtual Desktop streamed to my Quest 1.
not just the quest 2, broken on Rift S recently as well.
This one!
Thanks for the solution.
Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham VR\ArkhamVR\Binaries\Win64
And right click on "ArkhamVR.exe" and go to properties, click on the "capability" tab at the top, then under "capability mode" tick the box that says "Run this program in capability mode for:" and then select "Windows 7", then click apply and OK.
Good luck.
Otherwise when I access the game through virtual desktop, the game controls worked fine. However, my desktop cannot be directly linked to my router and so my game was pretty laggy...
I have to reboot in case of not detected headset.
