edit: if you're talking about the 3 cells and the one where joker's in there, yea I was stuck there for a little; just keep looking around, right, left, eventually the scene will automatically progress magically.
How about you Dr. Cheis? Did you get stuck there too or get in the room?
It didn't take long, maybe a minute or two? It actually took me much longer trying to figure out the code to the lockbox (looking all over the place for some numbers/listening to tape recorder). Luckily a hint showed up on top ... duhh. Hopefully you got through where you was stuck.
I currently can rotate my view but cannot alter my location. This requires motion tracking g on the headset.
I looked into programs like FacetrackNoir and WalkinVR but no luck so far.
I figured there would be some program that you coild bind a keystroke to emilate head tracking positions so I can simply “lean in” but no luck.
Any ideas out there?

100% Complete on a $20 VR rig
I did a lot of tinkering with this game. I wanted to play it, but was not willing to lay out hundreds of bucks for a Vive or Rift etc. So for under $20 I scrapped together gear and software to play this... it was clunky at times and certainly not the same experience as one of those cool legit rigs... but if you are curious about the game and want to test it out on the cheap, it can be done.
I bought a $5 carboard Googe VR head set, a $7 ap called iVRy mobile that displays the game on my mobile phone, a $5 USB adapter for my old Kinect sensor. And free trial software called "driver4VR". But also, (option 2) you can skip the Kinnect sensor and use different software called "WalkinVR" that allows you to use a regular controller to move instead of sensors in the room tracking your movement in space. I like option two better, easier set up.
It actually worked. Without motion tracking you can get all the way until the last scene before you get stuck... and there are about 6 Riddler trophies/Destructable Objects that you need to be able to move more than looking direction... But with the above set ujp I got 100% on the game 30/30 Riddles and 18/18 Destructable Objects. And it is a fun thing to noodle around with.
Good luck
