Being able to turn off production on certain products would be nice too, Would make you feel more in control to mix things up or pick between the slower to make but higher profit or the quick but cheap stuff.
+1 to the possibility to toggle a lock for spirits and totems. When I let my 3yo babysit the garden he often gets stuck picking up totems and spirits. Granted he's not the target audience, but I do it myself sometimes too when I'm trying to collect critters.
I personally would like some way of passively collecting (even if it's just a small fraction) of the garden critter drops to lessen the clicking requirement. At level 27 I still have one garden upgrade to unlock so I don't know what that is, but the top two recipes require critter stuff. It's not a big deal, I can still make money with one of the recipes (passion perfume) that my minions can harvest for (though the lack of shrooms and roots are killing me, at this point).
@Liguar I looked at your playtime. I didn't expect someone to get this fast to that level. Did you play this game very 'seriously' (min-maxing a lot)?
I also would like it if the game would set the prices for stuff by looking of how many of an item you have right now not how many time you have bought it in general, and/or an option to move trees and the like around and if possible switch two items because if i have no room left for spirits i can't switch them around wich is weird.
I also pick up spirits a lot while rapidly clicking and I hate that!
What I want, instead of a priority system, is to give a percentage of resources that something is allowed to use. The tier system isn't adequate and I find myself wanting to save up ingredients sometimes as well. Fortune Bags are a perfectly example of this. I only want those made if I'm 75% full on all the ingredients. Otherwise I want the mushrooms saved up for Cursed Idols, for example. Often while I'm clicking around for snails my mushrooms are all vanishing.
Also yes, nearly all items that require hunting animals is 100% non-automatable and building up ingredients so I can make tons of those at once while I'm actively clicking doesn't work right now because there's always some low tier recipe sucking up my production!
I don't consider this a huge problem and if it's part of your game balance I can respect that =) At higher levels with all the totems and upgades there are *tons* of critters on my farm anyway, this is only really a midgame frustration.
My dream list would also include the ability to turn off the game without totally 100% losing all the progress I would of made if I had left it up. I litterally kept the game running last night when I fell asleep and that sort of annoys me. I wish instead, if the game was off for (let's say) 10 hours, that I'd get maybe a few hours of my spirits moving faster and harvesting more quickly becuse they are well rested. I do *not* want to gain money while offline because I enjoy seeing things unlock, but I want to make money faster when I load the game back up.
Anyway, that's all! I love the game, wanted to make suggestions.
It's most definitely part of how the game is balanced right now, it's what makes all the totems and upgrades useful that would otherwise be sort of pointless. Right now you're supposed to accumulate a pile of animal parts to use with your plants and not the other way around. I totally agree with you, that it's sort of part of the puzzle to optimize it the way it is! I'd still love some more control over it like a lot of the commenters here. I think the current system frustrates peoople a little it'd be cool if we could find a compromise that still keeps the "puzzle" element somewhat intact.
There's been pros and cons for turning off production so how about a compromise? No sales when it rains which would give you a chance to fill up on the plants that were always running low/out.
