Making money in QFG II

I need money to buy a saurus with but I don't have enough and I don't now what to do. Can someone help? Thanks in advance.

Kill a scorpion and a ghoul, then turn in their stinger and claw to the apothecary for a reward.

If you've used THAT up, I'm afraid the only other way to make money is to go out and kill random brigands for pocket change.

Where do I find the scorpions and ghouls?

Also, don't forget you can say "no" until the saurus is like 5 gold. I would run out into the desert, get dervish beard, and sell it.

Too bad I didn't know about this and payed the full 50 gold price.

Yeah you cheap him down to 5 dinars, you should be able to afford that.

Otherwise if you're a thief you can get some work for money from the money changer.
Or kill some minions in the desert, just make sure you remember your way back
