Quest for Glory Collection

Quest for Glory Collection

Are there any issues for windows 10 users.
Already familiar with other sierra games except this series

Do all of these quest for glory games run perfectly on windows 10?
Also do any of these games have a ingame time limit similar to KQ3 or KQ4 where if you take too long just to go from the beginning to a certain point of a game that you can get screwed out of winning the game?

They use DOSBox to run so they should run just fine (though I would recommend installing the import patch for QFG2 to avoid all of your characters being imported as Fighters. Why this doesn't come pre-installed, I don't know. Just look up Quest for Glory patches on the Sierra Help Pages)

Quest for Glory 2 has an in-game time limit, but it's generous because the game wants to give you time to explore. You're not likely to be put in an unwinnable situation, either, because anything that *would* make the game unwinnable usually just results in a game over.
Quest for Glory 4 has events that happen based on time, too, and there's supposedly one glitch that can make the game unwinnable because an important character and item fail to spawn, but I've honestly never encountered it myself.

Thank you so much for the help.

Yeah the patch for QFG2 will help me since I'm more interested in playing as the Thief (maybe Mage) Warrior class in any RPG is just not interesting XD.

I'm glad I can get some warnings about some of these games because it's a nightmare when your game becomes unwinnable by a player mistake or glitch.

Oh yeah, I stumbled across another post and I just remembered.

You might have to do some tinkering to get QFG5 working in Windows 10.

I grabbed this from somewhere on these forums:

I had this problem for the last few weeks. Someone smarter than I am found the hidden setting.
Under Control Panel -> Programs -> Apps and Features, select "Turn Windows Features On or Off". "Legacy components" needs to be checked.
