QFG4 - Money Glitch?
I'm playing QFG4, and I found the Thieves Guild. When I open the two safes on the walls, the narrator says I found and take some potions, daggers, and crowns, but when I check my inventory, I don't have any more money. I have the new potions and daggers, but not the money. I tried to google the problem, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere. Is anyone familiar with this problem? Is there any way to fix it? Thanks in advance :)

It's possible it was just an oversight of some sort... Sierra wasn't the greatest company to work for, so the developers might've been rushed and stuff gets overlooked when that happens.

I'm gonna be honest and say that it's honestly not that bad. You don't need money for much of anything at all - potions are free once a day, you can buy everything you need after getting to town (and if you somehow don't have money, check one of the torches in Erana's Peace and you WILL have more money than you can spend) and then there's also the fact that the money doesn't transfer into the next game.

Thanks for the response. I guess I was just surprised that I couldn't find a single walk-through or game patch or anything that mentioned that this loot isn't rewarded entirely.

I'll have to check out your tip about Erana's Peace, for fun. Thanks!

On a side note, for future readers who find this topic through the search engine, I meant Erana's Garden. Erana's Peace is in the first game, but Erana's Garden is this game's equivalent.

Man, you're not kidding about having more money than you can spend. Between the bounty in Erana's Garden and clearing all the Wraiths. There is NOTHING to spend money on in Mordavia. I only played through as a Paladin so maybe I missed something but...what was the point of the Jewelry? All it did was take up inventory space as far as I could tell.

There ended up being no point for them in the final game.

I think there's an interview or a forum post where the Coles mentioned that they had plans for the jewelry but it fell through and it was just left in the game.
