License issue - Houdini Engine for Maya
Hi everyone !
After several hours of unsucceful troubleshooting, I'm getting out of ideas and solutions.

I have been owning a Houdini Indie licence, bought on Steam for almost a year now, and I'd like to try out Houdini Engine for Maya. I've been able to install it using the Houdini Engine Plugin Installer found in houdini's shelves.
No problem during the installation and the plugin seems to load properly into Maya, but as soon as I'm trying to load an asset from the houdini Engine menu, I'm getting that error :

// Error: Could not load OTL file: Path to my OTLs folder //
// Error: HAPI Error: No Valid Licenses Found
- To install license(s) see https://www.sidefx.com/faq/question/how-do-i-license-houdini/.
- HAPI_LICENSE_MODE unset or is set to 'default' meaning Houdini Engine will first try to acquire a Houdini Engine license and if one is not found it will try to acquire an interactive Houdini license (Houdini Core then Houdini FX).
- No Houdini Engine Indie license found.
- No Houdini Engine license found.
- No Houdini license.
- No Houdini FX license found.
- No Houdini Indie license. //

I'm using Maya 2019 and Houdini 19.0.498 (python 3)
I look over the web for solutions and there's a similar issue with Unity, but the workaround didn't work in my case.
Also, I have been learning and experimenting on an Apprentice license for multiple years, which means I might have some old files related to that in my system. Haven't actually found anyhting but maybe it can help finding a solution.

If anyone has any kind of information regarding Houdini Engine for Maya and how licensing or env variables, I'll be very interested.

Thanks !

Update on the situation, I've been able to solve the issue thanks to a post found on Reddit.

Basically I did 2 things:
First of all, after installing the plugin I copied the file \steamapps\common\Houdini Indie\engine\maya\maya2019\ houdiniEngine-maya2019
into the maya modules install folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2019\modules\
Just to make sure they match.

Then run Houdini Indie, got to Windows>Houdini Engine SessionSync, set to Named Pipe and click Start.
Now Back into Maya, I can load any of my assets from the Houdini Engine menu.

Here's an external link to the original post where I found the solution, it's actually for Unreal but worked for Maya as well:

Hope that could help if anyone end up being stuck like me !
