Houdini on macOS seems not behaving correctly.
So I posted a few days ago about Houdini on steam macOS can't open dynamic library file from Arnold. I tried to contact Solidangle and SideFX about this and they seemed they are not aware of this issue.

And I just tried to install my Education license of Houdini(WHICH IS NOT STEAM VERSION, THEY USE SIDEFX LICENSE), and the same file or Arnold works perfect without any errors that's been stressing me out.

This happens on my other macbook pro 15 as well. Steam version of Houdini(Any production builds) don't work with Arnold when hit render, saying it can't open houdini_driver.dylib file in arnold installation, but from SideFX license edition they work fine.

It could be permission issues with Steam on macOS or something but anyways, if you are using macOS and Steam version of Houdini, you might encounter high chance of Arnold not working properly. Windows worked fine though.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear you're having problems with this. It definitely seems like a Steam-specific problem, I'll start looking for a solution and will update here.
