Edit in external editor missing from Houdini 19.5
The option to edit in external editor is missing from all settings in Houdini 19.5. It's been baked into the last two versions, after having to use external tools to get it to work properly without locking up Houdini until the editor is done. But now this is a regression and I'm having to go back to Houdini 19.0 today because I can't edit VEX in VS Code and use all my tools.

If I right click in a wrangle and select Edit String and then in the Houdini expression editor that opens, click edit in external editor, that works - but it'll only ever open Notepad.

Can we get this back? Because otherwise I just can't move to 19.5. I write a lot of VEX and all the prep to move 19.5 into my pipeline is a waste of time if I have to use the internal editor or Notepad, neither of which are fit for purpose.

That is an odd change, sorry that it's affecting your workflow. It seems like a bug, can you submit a bug report to SideFX Support here: https://www.sidefx.com/bugs/submit/

Thanks for the quick reply Ben, doing that now - it's such a strange change that I wasn't sure if it was a missing feature or a bug.
