Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately, I've already setup my file association with the help of this guide.
I should also say that even when saving a file with adding .hiplc at the and of the file name, houdini saves it as a .hipnc.
And I do not have any apprentice version of houdini installed on my pc.
Before doing that, I want to try something, just to be sure it's bug.
Because I thought it could be a license problem and so I decided to run the license administrator (hkey.exe). And when I did, I got this prompt message saying :
"In June 2020, SideFX is deprecating the API that this version of hkey uses to communicate with sidefx.com. Please upgrade hkey and sesictrl to version 18.0 or higher before then. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation."
I guess I should try that out and see if it helps fixing my pb.
Do you know how can I upgrade hkey and sesictrl to 18.0 but still working on Houdini 17.5 ?
Thanks for your assistance !
It wasn't a bug, but an old line of code in my houdini.env, which was fetching an element from non-commercial license.
I should've double checked my .env file.
Anyway, thanks a lot Ben for your quick replies,
You guys at sideFX are very reliable !
