Shiloh is BROKEN.

The Battle of Shiloh is broken.

I managed to SECURE PITTSBURG LANDING on Day One. I completely routed the Yankees from the landing and secured it.

I am greeted with DAY TWO... where somehow they have the entire landing and are entrenched and supported.

Why did the victory conditions, met on DAY ONE, result in me "losing" day one and forcing me to play day two?

I can not continue playing the game until this is fixed

Did you run the Secure time down? And did you make sure you fullfilled all the Victory requirements on the Objectives screen? For the Confederates, it's holding Pittsburg Landing and losing less than 75% of your forces present on the field.

Yes, I hold Pittsburg Landing for the entirety of the time (almost all of it) and I lost MUCH less then 75% of my men, lad

You've still got 16 minutes left on the clock, and 3 minutes left on the Contested timer. Open up the objectives menu and see what's been checked just before the main timer ends.

I did. Victory conditions met. After 3 minutes, I held the point for the next 16 minutes. This is the last screenshot I took before it pushed me to Day 2... where I am in conditions that make no sense for where the battle left off.

If you'd like, I can go ahead and reload a save I have at the end of the battle and record it for you.

One last thing, did you make surre there were no Union units near the capture point?

By the end of the battle, I had them completely pushed from the landing and encircled, you can see that happening in the screenshot. I think that's a pretty clear victory.

The first time I did Shiloh I didn't even hold the point for more then a couple minutes. I held the point for the majority of the time this time.

Is there any way for me to force a victory state to get around this? Cheat Engine?

I would like to report that I also had this problem. I forced the yanks off the landing with none near the control point. The solution I found was that I had made a save during the interval where the finish button appears. Loading the save allowed me to get a victory. It's a bit of shame really I was looking forward to whipping the reinforced yanks.

I am also having this problem; just did Confederates on Shiloh at the MG level and had a clear victory in securing Pittsburgh Landing, green checkmark and all, and it still loaded day two with the CSA outside the landing and the Federals entrenched... Seems that the devs tried to fix this bug in the most recent patch BUT it did not work. I tried replaying the battle twice, same outcome each time. Shiloh is broke for the Conferedates.

Also to note, when securing Spain and Larkin field, when either of them is secured and the ~20 minute 'contested' timer runs down, it automatically switches to the other flank, even if there's time left on that battle clock, and it does not allow time for securing the second field.

####UPDATE####

After reading the previous post, I tried the battle again, saving right near the end, and found that if you click the 'finish' button, it goes to the next day. If you wait a minute, without clicking finish, it correctly ends with victory if you secured Pittsburgh Landing.

Perhaps the devs can fix that button so others don't face this same issue.
