Playing UGCW on a Mac

I am playing on an iMac, Catalina OS. I've read that if you update to Mohave, it will stop working. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

I first played it on OS X Yosemite and then OS Catalina. Now I am running it on a 64 bit M1 with OS Big Sur. It has worked on all of them as it is a very robust program. For me it works best on the 64 bit M1. The most problematic one for me was OS Catalina. So I can understand why you might want to change it.

There are a number of other Mac users here and I am sure they will offer their experiences when they next visit the forum.

Have fun with UGCW. It should hold your attention and this is why there are still so many long time players here, The Mac will also take the mods on offer, but you will need to put them in manually. I am no technical wizard, so if I can learn to do it anyone can.

I was confused as to next upgrade which is Big Sur. So it sounds like it works just fine on Big Sur. Not sure about the 64 bit M1 part. I am playing on an iMac that I bought last year.
