Any cheats for this game?

Thank you! Will try this out. After 3+ hours of not being able to even beat the first level, I feel extrememly cheated and regret buying this game. The only way to win now apparently is to cheat. Shame on the developers for not having difficult sliders or built in cheats for the less gifted RTS players out there (no wonder the genre isn't doing so well). Learned my lesson .

While the difficulty of the starting missions is not really appropriate for an introduction, you definitely don't have to cheat to beat them. If you're having trouble definitely try out the colonel difficulty and make sure to use the slowdown or pause options frequently until you are comfortable with the controls. There are also multiple good starting guides and youtube playthroughs to help you out.

Ya need cheats cause the Campaign tells you to take a position which you do but then it does not let you progress and makes you continue to fight.

I've beat the game with out cheating, as have many others. The only cheating I do now is making my 20pdr parrots do more damage within reason. By your third campaign the battles lack surprises, making them much easier as you know when and where troops appear.

The problem with this game is you'll move your stupid troops somewhere and they fail to respond to commands, go insane and run away, etc. Dumb mechanics.

While entirely unnecessary there is effectively a cheat built in to the first mission of each campaign. Start the battle, save the game, reload the game, and now all the reinforcing units will basically double in size.

I have gotten to Gettysburg with the Confederates but now the Union somehow out numbers me and it very hard to even Stalemate.

WeMod has cheats available

Unlimited : Health, Supplies, Condition, Morale, Recruits, Money

Instand reload, Max Armory Equipment..

I just tried WeMod and while cheats are available, you have to upgrade to the Pro version of WeMod. You can see the cheat options, but you can't select/enable any of them if you don't upgrade to the paid version.

The thing with this game is that the 1st battles are actually tricky with both Union and Confederate.

But then you will get to some battles which allow you more choices and more room for mistakes.

You should try beat the first battles asking for advice and following strategies which are known to work. You will then be able to enjoy the game on the colonel difficulty without much trouble.

There are a couple battles here and there where you may need to look for advice. But they all have solutions. And often several different solutions.

Colonel difficulty gets pretty enjoyable and easy going after the first battle.
