Ultimate General: American Revolution??

I am absolutely loving this game!!! It's definitely on my top 10 favorite Strategy games of all time. I love the history of the revolutionary war and I think the mechanics of this game would go perfectly for that time period and there are no good modern games for the revolutionary war. I hope the dev's see this post because this would be a dream come true !!! Please make it happen.

Looks pretty interesting. I would have preferred Napoleonic wars but it will be interesting to see how this new approach to the strategic layer works.

I wonder if the formations are going to play a bigger role than they did in Civil War.

One of the devs confirmed in a forum that after the American Revolution game they will start working on a Napoleonic Wars game, so rest assured that is also coming. I personally hope they will tackle the pike-and-shot era in a future game. Everyone skips that era and there were some very interesting wars, commanders, tactics and formations IMO.

Thanks! I do know it. It's a very good game! Unfortunately also one of the few ones covering pike-and-shot battles. It's still a very overlooked era in modern media though so more of that would always be good.
