what do ranks for commanders do??
does it matter if either a Major or a Colonel leads a Brigade? it doesn't really make it clear what it yields overall

thanks in advance
Jay

Higher rank allows the brigade to be larger (past 1500 men with a 0-experience Major, he starts loosing Command because he's not a high enough rank) and gives a higher Command stat. I'm not exactly sure what a high Command stat gives, but a higher Command stat appears to give better Efficiency and (a more sutble note) makes the unit Waver for longer before breaking or Routing, giving them a better chance to return to your command.

Command I believe is tied to morale, and so a better commander can keep his guys around longer, and it increases effeciency, which is tied to most offensive stats.

The only thing I ever see move is the efficiency bar when I change commanders.

Commanders also give a boost to experience. If you replace a high ranking commmander witha lower one, your units experience bar will shrink a bit.
