FPS on larger battles
Will the upcoming patch fix FPS on all battles or just fredericksburg?

Right now - 2nd BR and Antietam lag pretty hard on the final stages for me, less than 10 fps type lag, which is worse than BF1 ever lags.

Thanks, otherwise tremendous game thus far.

What are your PC specks?
Just played 2nd BR with no lag at all.

I have no problems as well, everything is fine here.
Your specs would be helpfull like OldGuy said.

I have this on Anti. Not always. Runs totally smooth and then. All of the Reb brigs start moving at once resulting in a lock up ( start of a script?) . for a minute or 2. Its allways when I encirle the rebs around sunken road.

I should rephrase it - it's not always on these battles. Historical versions are fine. It is just during the campaign when there are 150k+ troops on the field.

I'm running a 960 card, amd 6600 processor, 8gb ram, on windows 10.

Usually the game runs fine, it's just when I have 3+ corps on the field at once that I notice the lag start to hit.

You should check your PC. I played Antietam with 250.000 Soldiers on the Battlefield and had no lags at all.

Your processor must be underpowered... makes no sense that this would happen with anything else.

If you have programs running in the backround it will cause this. Check and see that only the programs you need are running. Close or disable everything else.
Im guessing its the OS, Win 10 has tons of garbage running in the backround.
Search the net on what and how to shut this stuff down. Plus your system will be more secure and your privacy better protected.
Maximum PC did a great article on this a few months ago.

Worth a try anyway.

Your processer might not be enough running Win 10.

WHAT?! I'm gonna need to see some proof of that.

250,000... That breaks down to ~ 170,000 Union to 80,000 Confederates. Were you playing as the CSA then? I can't see anyway you'd be able to recruit 170k as Union.

I am getting 60 fps on Antietum consistently. Some games have limitations as I get higher than this on most of my games. Idk what kind of processor and video card you have, also what your connection is. Check your GPU temperatures, high temps are usually a flag that your graphoics processor is being pushed. Good game performance usually goes with a good gaming system and a good video card. I suspect that is where I would look first.
