What historical period would you like to see in the next Ultimate General once they have finished developing the American Civil War?

(3) The Egyptian Campaign
(4) and The War of the Second Coalition

Crimean War was mentioned. That would also be great. Would be nice to see some never-addressed theatres, like the Greek War of Independence (1821-32), of the Russo-Turkish war of the 1870s.

Devs, time to hire a few more folks ! Looks like you may need them to work on all this new stuff after the final polish of UGCW. And since UGCW is such an outstanding piece of work, I see no reason to doubt any one of these proposals would be any different

Honestly I think deviating too far into the premodern world isn't the best idea.
the EARLIEST this should go back to, IMO, is the 1500s AD. Doing so would also require new game mechanics. Heavy cavalry was still very useful in the 1500s it was just less effective than it was in the high middle ages. It also would be interesting to fight colonial wars in Africa from the 19th century (the british fought the Asante in the 1840s and almost lost) Though Africa was not being carved up till after 1883. But really I'm mostly interested in the Mahdist War for that kind of thing. European colonial conquests on a semi-equal footing happened before the advent of mass industrialization, the maxim gun, breech loading rifles etc. So I can see India standing a fighting chance in 1818 for example.

Also Qing Dynasty China in the 1700s. 10 great campaigns and so forth. That would be AMAZING.

no China ,no spain war, no franco - prussia war, These are small war, and They are not interesting, only Napoloen, Rome. medieval war

But I would rather he focus on the campaign aspect of the game and add in more features (army movements, custom objectives,...)
