Amount of supplies
I'm not accurately quite sure about this, but I just felt a supply wagon with 30,000 supply just lasted as long as one with only 10,000. In most of the time, I have to capture enemy wagons to feed like 30 cannon. And enemy wagons lasts pretty much the same as mine.
Is there some kind of cap on supply on field or just my suspicions? And the enemy but like 30,000 supply as well?

Would be nice if there was a number and on off button.

There needs to be a better explaination of that cash your throw at supply. How the hell am I supposed to know what 13443 supply is? Is that 13,000 basic loads of my line infantry? Some arbitrary number?

A full supply wagon last much longer for me in battles for sure.
To save on supplies, make sure you stop the cannons from firing when their targets aren'twithin proper range. This can save you enourmous amounts of supplies, especially in the early stages of a battle.
I used to use two entire wagons at Shiloh but now I can get by with just 1 if I spend it conservatively.

I see it seems the max capacity of one wagon is 10,000. So the 30,000 is separated into multiple wagons.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found this confusing. I was assigning supply equal to the number of men in the corps.

Actually, an on/off button for the supply wagon like in give out supplies/keep supplies would be a useful addition, otherwise I had almost never problems due to running out of supply, only two Infantry brigades in the last hour of Antietam as CSA. It was a bit tricky to get my supply wagon to my far left without letting the supply get used by other units along the line.

Logistic skill becomes key as your army grows, so your troops are not as reliant on the supply wagon.

I got through Gaines mill and Malvern Hill with only 10.000 supplies in total. Using the 50% modifier to artillery ammo gives a lot of extra shots. My artillery did run out of ammo in the end but by then it was all over anyway. No logistic skill at all.

Here's an idea forget fielding cannons doing so invites enemy skirmishers and calvary to run amock in your back lines - i just field troops which allows me to outflank their troops which allows my troops to charge their cannons and take them out and when troops happen upon a calvary it usually less than half the number and we wipe them out..
