Kratos legacy was born from his family being killed and vowed revenge on the gods, Guts was born from a corpse hanging from a tree.

as was Kratos and guts did kill that King’s kid and there’s a reason he’s called the 100 man killer
Similar to how Kratos killed many during his early days
