Game Fix and Uncensored cutscenes
Hi guys,

I was getting crashes while playing the game during a cutscene or after finishing a battle.
The error message was something like Functional Call of C++.

Error R6025 pure virtual function call

After reading some comments here I decided to do the following to fix the crash:

1. Do a game repair within steam (just in case)

2. Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 ( 14.0.24212 )
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53587

3. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable x86 and x64 from your computer

4. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 (this is what you downloaded from step 2)
vc_redist.x86.exe and vc_redist.x64.exe

5. Download latest Nvidia or AMD drivers:
http://www.geforce.com/drivers or http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

6. Install Nvidia or AMD drivers using advanced installation
With Nvidia you can select "Do a clean installation" , I am unknown with AMD

7. Reboot your computer

8. Start the game and set the following settings:
- FullScreen ON
- Vsync OFF

9. Enjoy the game!

The game didn't crash anymore. Hence the game loads faster and runs better too.
Not sure what the reason for the crash was. But I noticed that I had a newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 ( 14.0.24215 ) . This was proberly installed by another program. Above steps are the exact things I did to tackle most problems what people had in this forum.

I hope this will help some people to enjoy this wonderful game :)

Cheers!

Hi Perry,

I had the same kind of issues just before the autosave at the end of a mission. I had to kill Mozgus 3 times because of this -_-

So, I rolled back the MS Visual C++ 2015 update and the game didn't crash since !

Regarding the general performances of the game, I read somewhere that setting the "environment" graphics to "low" helped avoid FPS drop issues. Apparently the rest can be maxed out and shouldn't be an issue on recent machines.

I also disabled V-SYNC but I'm not really a fan of screen-tearing, especially because I play on an external TV 4k monitor.

Anyways thanks for this post and HF with this terrific game, even though the cutscenes were heavily censored !!

Hey Red,

Glad it fixed your game :)

You could try enabling V-SYNC again and see if the game still runs correctly.

The uncensored cutscenes can be found here:
