My strategy has basically been to constantly get my health in the red so the frenzy bar fills automatically, then run away and ride Skull Knight's horse until the frenzy bar fills and just spam every frenzy attack and item until the bar is nearly depleted then rinse and repeat. It really makes the bosses frustratingly tedious.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
It's really not worth the time unless you're a completionist. Even then, it's unbelievebly repetitive.
I really really reeaaally hate the Thieves apostle. I'm not sure what I hate the most, Kelpie or him with the stunlock. The stunlock was just irritating as anything and he seems resistant to stuns, so he just attacks and attacks with his lame tail move. Utterly annoying.
My problem was that as I was using an Xbox One controller my RT doesn't work with the game so I couldn't use the Berserk ability, also the game doesn't let you change controls while in EE... Which actually was fine as I didn't need it and I'd actually gotten by without it (was doing one continuous complete eclipse run), until I reached Femto and had had my health close to destroyed previously due to that boss in particular.
Hate that boss. Screwed me over many a time.
I did, i'm not the only one with this problem. I've got 100% on the story mode, watched all cutscenes/events, and I've finished Endless Eclipse with Guts, Griffith, Casca, Judeau, and Zodd.
