New Desires in Endless Eclipse

What is the best way to encounter new desires in Endless Eclipse? I'm at 66% so most of the ones I seem to come across are ones I've already done. Are certain desires only available to certain characters? Right now I'm just exiting and reentering Layer 101 until something new shows up with less than ideal success.

Yup. some desire are only for some characters. For example, the final stage for guts and the final stage for griffith aren't called the same, and have different behelits to collect

Play all the characters to 100th level to unlock 100% eclipse. Character specific desires will have their portraits shown under desire description.

Is Femto the final boss for every character or just Guts?

I've yet to reach level 100 with everyone. I can only say that is the case for guts and griffith.

Femto is the final boss for everyone, I've only got Judeau (on layer 81 with him atm) and Serpico left to do. Can't see why they would receive a different end boss.

Maybe because it may have been consistant with the characters story ? Like the skeletton knight for zodd, guts for griffith/serpico, Guts/zodd for wyald, ect. But hey, we're talking about lazy koei here, so i expected it.

you'll see if you look at 81-100 that there are enough ?????? desires for each character. all femto fights are character-specific

It is called "Endless Eclipse" for a reason. Eclipse is associated with God Hand. It would make no sense to have Guts as final boss of Eclipse. Dont bash the devs for stupid reasons, there are plenty valid ones to criticize them for.

Well, you need to keep some semblance of theme at least at very end. Think of it like of Mortal Kombat ladder. There is bunch of clones and weird matchups, but in the end of ladder is always Shao Kahn waiting to kick your ass.
