E.g When I first started the game, it tried to access my ffdshow which I blocked so that it will use the default system. Of course, that's provided that you did not mess up system defaults(This requires codec/directshow repair and might need for uninstall of whatever 3rd party video codecs).
Windows N/KN version also require you to install media feature pack.
I read that someone resolved the issue by installing the K-lite codec pack, so I did that. Like you guessed, my default codecs also got messed up in the process (or maybe they were already messed up), but I was able to resolve that pretty easily with K-lite's codec tweak tool. Thanks for the help!
I seem to have been able to fix every issue I had except the cutscenes. Im not super upset because I know everything that happens but I'd really really enjoy If I could watch those :/
