Game refuses to play videos

Even if I go into the gallery to rewatch them, the screen goes black for a second and then I'm right back at the gallery.

Tried the codec fix, tried running as admin, tried multiple resolutions and graphics setting, verified files, no dice.

Explain your "codec fix" steps... Best to block using 3rd video codecs, use those OS defaults.

E.g When I first started the game, it tried to access my ffdshow which I blocked so that it will use the default system. Of course, that's provided that you did not mess up system defaults(This requires codec/directshow repair and might need for uninstall of whatever 3rd party video codecs).

Windows N/KN version also require you to install media feature pack.

I read that someone resolved the issue by installing the K-lite codec pack, so I did that. Like you guessed, my default codecs also got messed up in the process (or maybe they were already messed up), but I was able to resolve that pretty easily with K-lite's codec tweak tool. Thanks for the help!

I seem to have been able to fix every issue I had except the cutscenes. Im not super upset because I know everything that happens but I'd really really enjoy If I could watch those :/

i have the same problem... Changing in the options and reistaling the game gave nothing good. Reinstalling K-lite codec pack did no better. Nothing works for now.

The K-Lite codec pack comes with a "Codec Tweak Tool," try using that. Select the "Fixes" option and just apply all of the fixes, it might work.

I tried "Fixes" and "Reset" before and now again, but still nothing. Btw i'm using K-Lite Codec Pack Mega, also tried with standard version (though it was pointless but just to try something) and the same results. God, it should be in the requirements what the game needs like some codec pack or some other different thing, not only the PC spec...
