all the Games like this are the same just to suit a fan base.
I've not played dynasty in a while, but this game seems more fluid with chaining your combos together. Dashing mid combo or right at the end cancels animation and makes the next attack quicker, and you also gain a sub weapon a few missions in, these have cooldowns but can also be used to stop a combo dropping in between main attacks.
It feels slower than dynasty at first until you get used to the dashing mechanic/animation cancel idea.
Missions are shorter so far then dynasty. Sub bosses and main bosses a better as breaking blocks is more like Samurai Warriors than Dynasty.
You have equipment to level up, and horses. It looks pretty simple though.
I've done 10 levels in the abyss/survival mode and that looks more in depth than I thought it would be. No timer. Missions within the missions, random harder optional encounters. A desire choice for each five levels which changes what you'll be faces in those five levels and the rewards you can get.
i think the survival mode sounds very interesting!
If survival mode is all just that but for many repeating levels, I reckon it might become tedious rather fast even if you are a fan of the genre and/or berserk.
Those are opinions I've read around here, so take them with the grain of salt, just like anything really.
