Why is this called Berserk and the Band of the Hawk ???

Berserk is not even a person its a state of be wtf. Guts is the guy with the sword everyone knows that. Berserk is called Berserk because Guts gets so enraged by the traumatic events of the eclipse that he chophs stuff up in two. They just needed to call this one just Berserk seriously, its like calling a Metroid game "Chozo and the space pirates" it makes no freakin sense :)))

I dunno :/ the previous games had a good translation, the dreamcast one called Berserk: Guts Rage and the unreleased EU/US PS2 game which is awesome by the way was called Berserk: Millenium Falcon which is okay but what bothers me is that "and" Why not call it just Berserk: The Band of the Hawk wtf :/

It's not a matter of translation, they could've called it simply Berserk Warriors or something like that, but they know how important the "Band of the Hawk" is, specially in the Golden Age Arc, the most popular arc in the series, and it returns as the Reborn Band of the Hawk, so it's pretty important.

And with this name, we, fans of the game, ♥♥♥ buckets.

They know the target for the game are the fans, mainly.

It's very obvious that that the title was created by a non-native English speaker a.k.a.Engrish who is trying to be hip and edgy but disregarded proper grammer and word usage, reminds me of the plethora of humorously bad translated Japanese made video games that was rather common during the 90s.

Also they should have just called it BERSERK: Band of the Hawk or BERSERK and the Band of Hawk. Saying "the Band of the Hawk" just sounds so wierd.

Honestly it's not a bad name. You could say 'America and the US Military'. it's an incomplete sentence but it's a title and there's nothing wrong with the syntax or meaning.

Ask that to the localization teams over at KoeiTecmoUS and KoeiTecmoEU. But whatever, in the end, it's just a name. I'm still calling it Berserk Musou
