The game ends with the characters going onto the infamous boat
So no, there wont be a definitive ending
This is a common thing in anime-based game.
The same kind of Non-Ending Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and every other action-oriented manga/anime had for years until the original work reaches the ending.
In the case of Berserk, it's even worse of a case because what's happening after the "boat" is basically a boss, lots of talking, another boss, few fighting, lots of talking, Magic Magic, switch onto Griffith side of the story (or those close to him) and so on.
And that's with the limitation of 1 chapter per month being released IF not on hiatus.
There was this joke about how every action based animes that never ends would still reach their end before Berserk primary medium (the manga) ever reach its own ending and ironically, it came true.
It's great story but story is taking a lot of time to progress.
