I have a friend that made a full size iron Dragonslayer and it doesn't sound "metallic". It just sounds like knocking on your desk when you hit something like it.

Then again, they hit a dilapidated car with it and it left a hug dent, car crash like.

Man, i'm so envious.

If it didn't sound like a giant frying pan then I wouldn't ever buy this game lol. I mean it's not a sword. It's a huge hunk of iron with a slight edge =P

a full size iron dragonslayer would be over 400 pounds of solid metal. no one could lift something like that.

Honestly, I'm dissapointed. That sound just sucks. You barely hear it at all, and if you do it sounds like a normal sword, not an 400 pound iron slab.

actually it would be closer to 60-80 lbs. man at arms made cloud's buster sword (which is close to the same size) and it was usable, though not easily.

It's not solid metal either, but thick metal plates meld welded together in a structure not unlike the hull of a ship, and then polished.

The end result is beautiful beyond words, but also strong enough to cleave a man in half (if you had Guts strengh).

I asked my friend to send me some pics. I admired it last time i went to his house, but forgot to take pictures...
