Hokko Spaces

What is the full game like?

I played the demo and it seemed like it was just a freedom diorama-building toybox. That's cool, but I was hoping for something more like Viva Pinata that felt more like a game, but with Hokko characters. Is there any kind of discovery, challenge, unlocks besides characters, etc., or is it really just a creative app more than a game? I mean it's only $7 so I might get it anyway... maybe if you can unlock items for your dioramas or something. Just unlocking the characters (which seemed just a matter of ted...

Suggestions

I just got the game. Its a fun and simple game. A few things that I think could make the game better: - The ability to resize items -More items (which you might have planned anyway)

It’s very cute. I hope this is the bones for a new Hokko life game. Honestly while I appreciate the concept it personally is not for me. It’s a little TOO aimless. Almost like it’s for playing with some assets for staging while waiting for a real game to be developed. Some minor visible goals to optionally work towards progressing would go a long way. There are hidden unlock requirements for villagers but no actual visible goals to work towards.

What’s here is very polished and relaxing but it could use some QoL. To place fencing I have to put one down then it takes me back to the selector to pick the fence again one at a time for example. I would prefer the game be twice as much and have more to it. Recommended if you know what you are getting into and are happy with what’s on offer. Just not my cup of tea gameplay wise.

I’d like a Hokko game somewhere between this and the previous game. This art style and graphics with the others gameplay minus the too extensive (imo) furniture customization.
