Chapter 7 save broken

Saw someone else had this same problem, had to hard close the game during the action sequence and after reload, the save was broken. It would just stay on a black screen. Anyone else had this problem/found a work around, or way to just restart Chapter 7?

The same thing happened to me. I have that same problem. I find it fatal to sell a product in this state.

The savegame directory is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Phantasmagoria\Phant\PHANTSG.0 & PHANTSG.1

If you go to new game and creates a new memory, you can select right to start the chapter. So you do not need a memory file!

Well, I tried this, but the chapter started with missing items I previously collected. And I'll need them to finish the game. :/

Can you re-post the save? I might just have to speed run the whole game again to get the ending... I really don't want to watch someone else play the ending after I just played for 10 hours.

For anyone having this problem: just start a new game and from there jump to chapter 7.

It's easier that way.
