Firing stutters

Just wondered if anyone else has this problem? Playing full game on Rift S with Oculus Touch controllers, I know it's not officially supported but other people are saying they are playing with this setup. Love the game, the only problem is the guns seem to freeze constantly. Stuttering my shots meaning I can't kill anything before dying.
