Okay, I don't get it.

I am trying to get the other five endings, the ones where you supposedly forgot a virtue, and well, I've tried just about everything that makes sense and I do not know how to get them.

I have tried letting a virtue drop below the threshold (into the red) in Autumn of the last year and letting it go untended, which just causes game over with the normal message at the end of Winter (i.e., You failed to cultivate the virtue of such and such).

I have also tried letting a virtue drop below the threshold in Winter of the last year (into the red) and leaving it there, with all the other virtues comfortably above the threshold. I ensured that this virtue was still in the red after my last sacrifice, but I still got the same "good" ending, the same one I have gotten every time I've beaten the game thus far.

What gives? I really wanna see these cool endings (without going to freaking Youtube). I also want to fill out my achievement list. What am I doing wrong here?

Hi Nightfire! So we looked into it more, and it's not actually a bug. Rather, you probably were a bit toooooo effective in your killing of sinners. I would rather not explain more, for fear of spoiling it for others, but others can chime in with their theories of how this could happen.

you need to do the drop just in the last month. Also lack of discipline ending is bugged and it will give you the normal one

It's true, I had killed all the major sinners before the end of the game. But I made sure that my fervor was ZERO! My villagers were so lethargic that they were mistaken for dead! Yet Chernobog still loved me somehow (in his own creepy way). I still don't get it.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I just had this same situation, just now. Winter of last year, everything was above the threshold except for ignorance before excecution. And the one I was executing had an ignorance virtue which should have only made it worse. But I too killed all the major sinners and discovered all their traits as well, in case that mattered. I am gathering since it's not a bug that you can only get a good ending if you kill all the major sinners?

I believe you have to not kill all the major sinners. If you don't wipe the board of major vices, then you'll get an ending based on whatever stat is in the red.

I ended with all stats above needed and all houses happy, but left one cowardly person alive and got the fervor ending. I think the ending is based on what the major sinner you left alive was hurting (so rebellious would give the obedience ending etc.)

Does anyone know how to get the last achievement? Does it mean that we have to kill all the villagers? How is it possible?

If you purify a villager trying to make them awoken, there is a chance they will die.

Man this game is so bugged. Achievement for discovering every single vice&virtue didn't unlock, thanks for wasting my time. And apparently sacrificing someone to lower the threshold in the final trial does not affect the ending? Only the stats before the sacrifice?! BUT IT'S THE GRAND FINALE

Yeah, i got that achievement, took me forever,but it was worth it. The better way for getting different endings is to leave the related sinner, it will almost guanrantee the ending, lowering the threshold does not work if u do it in the last trial, but it will do when u do it in the second last trial, and leave it there in the last trail, then u will get it. Wish u all the luck getting all the achievements

I think maybe they make the discovering achievement harder, u can try to discovering all the sins and virtues in one single game, since u can dicovering the sins and virtues in the cell, it is possible to do that, and i have succeed and i believe u can do it as well.

i dont get whats the use of awokens, i used one of them for 3 months but the results seems nothing special

The awokens are just for the unlock of a new ending where the villagers left are all awake. And using the awokens will lead to all kinds of changes depending on pure luck (could be bad, could be good)
