[SPOILERS] A place to discuss the finer details of What Remains of Edith Finch

I noticed a lot of detail in this game and a quick search did not reveal a centralized location for their discussion and appreciation. So I decided to start this thread.

NOTE: This thread is intended for people who have PLAYED THE GAME (or do not mind spoilers).

So to kick things off:

Edith's son at the intro has a cast on his right arm. How did he break his arm? Is this too a part of the Finch curse (trying to get him)? Notice the visual similarity to Edith's arm covers (not sure what they're called, extended gloves?). Also notice how Edith was wearing different arm covers when she was younger in one of the other scenes, I believe it was when she started reading Edie's diary. She's been into them a while, hasn't she? Also notice the flowers the son has at the intro are the ones he puts at her grave at the end--implying that the entire game was a readthrough by him likely during his trip on his boat, or perhaps walking to the Finch graveyard.

What is the deeper meaning/symbolism of the Prince/Queen/Ranbow/Serpent decision tree in Lewis' story when you're sailing along the river?

Lewis actually started to lose his grip on reality after he got OFF drugs. Isn't it usually the other way around? What is this part of the story implying?

Notice the multiple references to psychiatric medicine / mental health /illness / medication in general. Pill bottles noticed in the house (forgot who's room), hallucinations from Molly before she dies, Lewsis' story speaks for itself to that point, Edie on meds and then drinking at the end.

Note on how the game makes you question reality. Did the tide REALLY go out farther than it ever had the night Edith was born? Or was Edie just hallucinating? Similar statements can be made about many if not all of the other Finch stories.

Has anyone taken the time to read the titles of all the books in the Finch house? I am thinking if you did and KNEW what they all were, you'd have a pretty good picture of who they were just from that.
