Is this a bug?

I can't seem to take a picture of this girl. The story won't progress untill I do but I have taken many pictures of her and it is not registering with the game. Do I have to do something special or is the game broken?

I assume you're talking about Sam's Story, when he goes on a hunting trip with Dawn. Which section are you having a problem with? Make sure you have the subject "in focus" before you take the picture.

and link a screenshot so we can see where you're getting stuck :)

Sorry yes I couldn't remember his name, yes Sam's story and the hunting trip. I have zoomed the camera in as far as it can go and have a fairly good image of her. The game said my first shot was not quite right but after that nothing. I have played it twice now and the same thing is happening.

Which part? There's two scenes where you need to take a picture of her, first in the car and then in front of the park sign.

Oh, no I am still in the car. I've taken plenty of pics but the game just doesn't like them. Tried moving the camera around but just can't seem to get a pic the game likes.

Ok I know where you are now :) So what you need to do is zoom in with W on Dawn until she closes her book. That's how you know she is ready for you to take the picture that will advance you to the next scene. Just checked in-game myself to make sure this is how it works. W zooms in and S zooms out for the camera focus.
