bug in molly story

i played as Molly, i eat the drunken sailor, then the octopuss jump out of the window and i layed on the floor, could do nothing, after 5 minutes nothing happend, i ended the game and start again. Now i am as Edith in Mollys room and i have to play the whole molly story again??? is this a bug?

Yeah I think so, you have to restart the Molly part. I had the same question and I couldn't move as the sea monster, then I started the whole part again.

I just had a different bug while trying for the achievement. I crawled up to one of the birds just outside the captain's room and when it took off my tentacle shot way up into the sky. I can hit escape to bring up the menu, but I can't move or finish Molly's story.

The same thing happened to me. I've lost my patience with this game as you have to start Molly's story all over again.

I played that part through multiple times, and I got stuck once, but you can finish the sequence, even get all achievements, without getting stuck. Just don't go to extreme locations. Move along the corridors as normal.

I just played through the whole game (December 23rd 2020) and did Molly's story twice to get the achievement. I didn't run into any bugs at all while doing so. Maybe it's been fixed?

It's July 31st 2022 and that bug just happened to me. I grabbed the drunken sailor and after that I was unable to movie. The game didn't freeze. The music continued to play and I could access the pause menu. But the tentacle just wouldn't move no matter what.

Just started the game for the first time today (August 4th 2022) and got stuck eating the man as the tentacle monster.

Same issue here! Very strange but i guess I have to redo this part ugh, love the game so much so far though! Is there any way to avoid the bug or do you have to replay Molly's part?
