Drove off the dock, respawed on the dock, ran to the now closed warehouse door, ran upstairs and got into Derek's office!
I went into the warehouse, and hid behind the I-beam on the left side (next to the crates). I squatted down to avoid most of the fire. After taking out a couple of guys coming down the stairs, I found that you can take out Derek with the magnum when he sticks his head out every once in a while. But I always did like to do things the hard way!
You're welcome. Glad to help. I love this game, and I hate to see people quit so close to the end because of the difficulty spike in Chapter 14. I've completed the game on Hard on all three platforms, so I've played Chapter 14 many times.
Bottom line is the same, though: It's much easier to fight Derek and his goons from the confines of Derek's office on the 2nd floor than completely exposed down on the ground floor of the warehouse.
I played on hard and the game really wasn't that difficult, apart from the odd occasion. Quite enjoyable though.
Don`t know, how i beat this game on the ps3 though...
