Joe's adventure as bad as Jimmys Vendetta?
I love the main story and world of Mafia 2, but the DLC Jimmys Vendetta is kind of boring.
- Timelimits for every mission,
- no videos,
- go there, steal that, kill that one, destroy that thing, rince and repeat.
-> Not fun.

So, can somebody tell if the DLC "Joe's adventure" is of the same bad type as Jimmys Vendetta? (I have it already from the last special, just want to know if I really want to play it)

unfortunately it's more of Jimmys Vendetta. It's sorta wierd though since Joes Adventures opens up with a traditional mafia mission and has cutscenes and everything but after the first mission it's just a bunch arcade missions like in Jimmys Vendetta.
It's been a while since I've played either, but I recall enjoying Joe's Adventures a lot more than Jimmy's Vendetta. Joe's Adventures actually ties into the main story, and seems more coherent overall. The gameplay was more reminiscent of the main game as well.

Joe's Adventures >> Jimmy's Vendetta >>>>>>>>>>>>> The Betrayal of Jimmy.

Joe's Adventures is the best story DLC pack, and The Betrayal of Jimmy is by far the worst.

Ok, thank you guys, then I'll have to try the Joe-DLC someday too to find out if " actually ties into the main story" is good enough for me.
Too bad, the main story was so good, I was stunned when I drove through the city where snow was falling. That was so beautifully.
And because of the story you always had something in mind what you had to do, even wanted to do.
