How to install Mod

Hello everybody ! :D

I wanna know how to install mods on this game, cauz when i copy/past the file in the appropriate folder, in-game they say that the "dlc" (even if it's a mod) is "installed but not purchased", and i don't know how to solve this issue.

Are these mods a bit illegal ? o_O I mean they're "fan mod", why do we need to purchased them if they're free of charge ?

i'm not interest in modding o_O, i just want to know how to install them, and english is not my first language so it's more difficult for me to search myself, and i did it without finding a good answer unfortunately

that's weird because this link really work o_o http://www.gamewatcher.com/mods/mafia-2-mod/rat-rods-pack-dlc-by-dgumba, but it isn't working if you use it thru Steam (i saw it right now), use your web browser;)

and sometimes README are useless "If you don't have any dlcs then add the dlc folder to the Mafia 2/PC folder.
If you already have a dlcs folder or files then just add the cnt_rat_rods folder in your dlcs folder. becauz they don't explain why the game says that i have to purchased the mod u_u

It's the drm that's causing problems. Some similar mods are designed to add to or replace a dlc to get around this, you might be able to get around this issue by merging it with a dlc if you have one and copying some of the stuff in the "content" file(no extension) to the content file for that dlc. I have no idea how you would do this exactly or if it's even possible without heavily tweaking the mod, other than that you'll have to use your imagination because I don't want to get in trouble(hint, hint).
