Best early game car?

Hidy ho all,

I'm just restarting this game after a year or so. And the first car you get is a beuty, but the thing handles like a feighter. I was wondering if anyone knew which early game car could handle the best? Or is it all up to the driver early game?

Wow, I thought there wold be a clear winner in this category. Do all of the early cars handle like crap?

IMHO, the best car in 1940th is Lassiter Series 69.

I don't know about you guys but Shubert pickup best vehicle in the game.

if you have certain mods then the best 40s car is actually the military jeep.

for the base game? probably the jefferson.

also, if you have the Made Man pack, 100% the Cossack. that thing is built like a tank and can actually compete with a significant number of cars in the 50s segment of the game.

the Cossack pushes cars around like they dont exist and crashes with most cars at even around 20 to 30 mph only leaves the car lightly scratched.

all cars are more or less the same as handling...and are all pretty bad. for me

The early and avaiable (and good) are: Jefferson Provincial, Lassiter 69 (imho one of the best), Lassiter 75 (this is common one), Smith V8. Shubert sucks :-)
But in 40s the best are Jefferson and Lassiter - very rare one, but get it before you get into jail.
