Do you have deactivated v-sync?
Machete Aug 11, 2015 @ 5:16am

Try v-sync, because it seems this problem is related to 60+fps
i just had this same problem and i turned on vsync and aftr about 30 seconds it started working fine again so thatfixed itfor me. thanks

This doesn't work for me, at least on Windows 10.

Another possible easy fix is Alt-Tab out of the game a few times...

I've tried that, as well as dropping all video settings, windowed mode and vsync on. Suppose I'll uninstall and write a negative review.

Ok... probably the last option is running the game on just one core. Do you know how to set CPU affinity?

Or you can try to deactivate PhysX if it´s activated, because some problems are caused by PhysX, but I´m not sure if this is that case as well.

make sure you dont have your video card software set to override ingame vsync setting which would never allow vsync if it were set to overirde and off. this can be done in the nvidia cp not sure about the amd versiojn

I'm not going to bother setting cpu affinity. If a game requires that I simply don't play it. I've deactivated PhysX and also made sure nvidia control panel isn't overriding anything. About the only game I'm ever willing to set affinity is Scarface and even that I don't bother with most times.

I can confirm. Having your monitor capped at 60hz fixes it. Having tried all of the above, this was the only thing that solved it.

I have a 144hz ASUS, so having V-Sync on did nothing, nor any other setting, neither in-game or Nvidia control panel. I had to go into advanced settings in Windows and change my refresh rate from 144hz native to 60hz native and having V-Sync on aswell.

I'm also on Windows 10

This worked thank you very much:steamhappy:
so its a bug with the game and if you have windows 10 its a diffrent fix for it. very weird having to go thru that many steps to fixthis in one os vs the other. makes me wanna avoid w10 a bit longer

You're welcome. I'm glad it worked out. :)

I have zero issues with Windows 10, for the record, outside of this game that is.
