Any way to remove the DLC's timers?
Title says it all. While I enjoy the rush provided by the timers for some missions, overall they detract from the fun-ness of the missions. I can't enjoy the shooting, city, or game design when I am being constantly rushed from a to b when an insta-fail timer is looming over my head. Is there any way to disable the timers so they don't automatically fail the missions?

Nope, those annoying timers can't be deactivated. The DLCs have an "arcade" approach, and the timers are part of that gameplay. The better you play in less time, more points you get in the leaderboards.

And I agree with you, they are really annoying. Whoever thought that was a great idea, is an idiot... :tank:

I know this thread is quite old, but is there meanwhile a solution to get rid of this stupit time limits?

No, but they really aren't that bad. Maybe it's because I played the DLC's on easy but I had more than enough time for the missions. I didn't fail a single one because of time, and I didn't rush on any of them.

So, I won't buy any DLC I guess? I don't like the timer idea.

Do all the DLC's have timers or just one of them? I hate timers in games with a passion. Being rushed is a bad game mechanic.

Jimmy's Vendetta has timers for every mission. Joe's Adventures has timers for some of them, and also has story type missions that aren't timed, similar to how the base game is. But again, the timers aren't really an issue. I also hate timers because I hate feeling rushed, it's not fun and it ruins games. But you don't feel rushed, trust me you have PLENTY of time, the time alloted is very generous.

There also seems to be a lot more police cars in Joe's Adventures. I received wanted status in almost every mission, it was very annoying. This happened rarely in Jimmy's Vendetta.

also hated just seeing the point system with numbers popping up from killing enemies, why couldnt they leave all that acardey stuff out or give an option to disable it? =/

Just FYI, you don't need to log in to download your mod.

I've never heard of the site, but when I clicked on the big red DOWNLOAD button, I got your mod. (I then deleted it since I don't own the DLCs. :steammocking:)

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know.

This thread is 4 years old! I don't think I realized it was 2 years old when I posted 2 years ago :O
