Controls Stop Working???

[Ancient Lager]

So i'm up to Chapter 6 where *SPOILER* you're in prison and have to spar with Pepe. When I am supposed to counter attack by holding Space and clicking Left Mouse Button when Pepe swings at me, nothing happens. At this point both mouse buttons stop working. The mouse is dying as I can still look around so it must be some bug. Please Help.

Something wrong with mouse, and keyboard. Cant just work through 5 chapters, and then at a moment stops working.

i dont know if you are still stuck on this, but i was having the same problem. i then realised that you need to hold space and then release it before pressing left mouse button to counter just as hes finished throwing the punch. nothing happens if you click while still holding space. hope this helps!
