in chapter 6 when you are learning to counter punch against pepe it wont let me left click or punch. I've set punch to a diffrent button, changed mouses, and restarted everything (computer, game, etc.) is there anyway to fix this

I haven't heard of this. You can try to re-veryify the game cache. I doubt that will do anything though. I just bought this game today. From what I see on Steam, there are a million things wrong with this game. :(

I've only come across 3 issues: the game always trying to install something related to Physx on launch (can easily be fixed by editing the installscript.vdf file), low performance with Physx on and 1 very minor gameplay bug in my 74 hours spent across the main campaign and the DLC campaigns. I'm really not sure why some other users are having so much issues with this game but I could just be lucky with this game again.

As for the issue the OP is describing I'm fairly certain you're not counter-attacking correctly: try dodging and as soon as Vito dodges, release the dodge button and then press the light hit/hard hit button. Once you get the timing right it becomes second nature.
