annoying glitch

can somebody please tell me if there is some kind of technique that could possibly work to remove the "crash on the kitchen couch to get some sleep" icon on the map. i've played through 9 chapters since that icon popped up and it's still there now. it always interferes with the "gps" on the minimap because you can't always know which way is right.
so anybody know a fix for it?

the only thing i could find that works is i restarted the game. i know it sucks because i was just out of jail and i thought that after all that it would be gone but i restarted and powered through the game skipping every cutscene to get rid of the message. i don't think there's any actual fix and probably never will be since the games old now.

i restarted the game too and i hope there is a way to fix it cause restarting didn't fix it and i just lost all my progress

You could also download a save file from the internet, and just start at the chapter wherever you were at. The downloaded save file most likely won't have that glitch on the map. That also helps if you run into the one actually game breaking glitch towards the end of the game.

I have kinda the same problem but worse. I'm stuck at that part, i'm going to Joe's apartment, going to fridge, i'm eating and nothing happens, i eat again, i drink everything and still nothing happens,wtf...

I'm having that glitch too but I can't even enter the apartment
