Freeride mod?

How do you get the freeride mod to work on the steam version? everytime i try to play it tells me to buy it?

I made repack for Free ride mod by Costa. Original thread on http://mafia-empire.com/forum/index.php/topic,51.0.html is dead, but mod work great ;).

My repack is prepared for English version with Mansion residence ;).

M2 Free Ride mod by costa v2[en.webshare.cz]

Installation:
1. Unpack with 7zip
2. Copy folder "PC" into your Mafia II directory (for example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\mafia ii)
3. Run Game and choose Free Ride from Story section

Description:

*** Features ***
Randomly start at one of Vito's places or Joe's place
Added option in houses to save the game (try go sleep at your flat ;))
Added option in houses to change your model to one of the special ones (look to mirror)
Added a god mode option in houses (unlimited health, unlimited ammo, all weapons, indestructible cars)
Allowed using weapons inside houses
Filled up the wardrobe
Added option to tour Leo Galante's House (summer only)
Added option to tour the Vinci mansion with optional enemies (summer only)
Upped garage spaces to 50
Added the ability to drag dead bodies

*** Known Issues ***
Joe and Henry cannot visit Leo's or the mansion
Other interiors (planetarium, hotel, etc) are not available yet
Joe's house still uses the updated look in winter
Loading a free ride save will cause crashes in some situations
Sometimes police will let themselves into your house and attempt to arrest you after shooting a weapon inside

Yesterday it worked properly but today i started the game and choosed "Summer night" and after that the game crashed. What now?

Try turn off Steam overlay for M2.
It was solved all my crashes.

Do I replace the files in the PC folder that is already there that have the same name?
