Mafia 2 Classic Constant Crashing

Decided to revisit Mafia 2 Classic as it has been a while since I last completed it. The game ran well last time I played it in Windows 7 x64 now I can hardly finish a chapter on Windows 10 without the game crashing to desktop with no error code. All settings are maxed. Anyone found a fix? Thanks.

Actually no, theres a problem with textures or something and produces game crashing and exiting, its happening to me :(

i played it on W10 even on W11, but on 11 was a problem with textures in DLCs but not main story

Do you have Vsync enabled or something?

no, max settings only vsync and physx turned off, because of having low FPS, but some thread on internet said if u downgrade physx to older version it might help to increase FPS or have better stability,

if u still have a problem after tweaking graphics settings then try run Mafia 2 with Windows 7 compatibility.

do you have physx enabled? if you do turn it off since its bugged in this game.

*UPDATE*: Well with the 4GB Patch and disabling Physx seems to be working amazing again until now... so you were right. Thx so much for your help @Prizmoe and evryone who commented for fix this bugs... i have no words, really thanks to evryone guys, i really apreciet it. Take care guys.
