No sound!?

When I load the game, the logo animations have sound. As soon as they are done, there is no sound on anything. I have my speaker set to stereo, I reinstalling the game, steam, and audio drivers. I tried everything. Anyone else have this problem?

Some games run cut scene sounds on the 'music' channel. If you have music muted ramp it up a bit and see if that helps.

Mafia 2 won't work with most if not all USB Headphones. (or just those which aren't stereo)
Plug-In Headphones through the Jack, and play on those. It's not ideal as you can't play on your normal headphones but it's atleast playable (if you're not using some cheap ass inears).

I hope it helps I kinda tried everything before plugging in my old headset.

Oh and you have to choose your Audio-Jack-Headphones before starting the game.

i had this issue with another game i had to go into my sound card options change output to 7.1 or 5.1 depending on your setup... mine was a realtek seems to be the most common... Was awhile ago i did this and was a pain to figure out so can't give better instructions sorry
