I am kind of curious what this actually changes? (I know it is the measurement system)

The speed meter stays the same when you switch between the two also how fast the needle goes up and down is the same.. what exactly changes if you do switci t around? There is also no MILES/METER to a destination as far as I know.

In case you're still interested in this, I've played through the game with Metric units and the only change I've noticed was when I went to the Game Statistics screen, it showed my highest top speed in km/h.
